Sofia hosts a Holiday & Spa Exhibition

On the 21st February in Sofia started the Holiday & Spa fair, which featured more than 320 tour agencies and tour operators, as well as spa equipment companies from all over the world. The exhibition concentrated on spa centers and hydrotherapy, wine and cultural tourism, tourist products. The event was in partnership with the Sofia City Hall, the Bulgarian Association of Tourist Agencies and the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association.

Def Leppard and Whitesnake with concerts in Sofia

The UK hard rock bands from the eighties Whitesnake and Def Leppard will take part in the Arena Muzika festival, which will start on 4th July this year. Tickets are already on sale. The summer promises to be even hotter, with the coming of metal giants from Metallica and Kiss. The industrial metal band Ministry will hold one of their last live concerts in Sofia from the farewell tour they organize.

Sightseeing tours in Sofia

Specialized sightseeing bus tours will be offered in downtown Sofia, informed Dnevnik daily. The service is expected to be launched in May, while the routes and the photos spots are yet to be finalized. The places that will be present for sure are the Sveta Nedelja Church, the Russian Church, Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the Archeological Museum and Boyana Church. When the trips start there will be four rides per day, which will last approximately an hour and a half and will cost twelve leva. The tourist information will be presented in Bulgarian, English and German.
