More bicycles in Sofia

Though only one bicycle lane is planned to be organized in Sofia, there are plans for more to come, as the local municipality aims to turn this kind of transport into a major way to go around the capital. Besides the already existing old lanes that have to be reconstructed, there are plans for new ones in the districts of Mladost and Lyulin.

Tatoo Fest in Sofia in May

A two-day national tattoo festival will be organized in Sofia for the period 3rd – 4th May in “Hristo Botev” sports hall, located in the Students Town. All visitors will have the chance not only to meet but also to work with some of the best tattooists in Bulgaria. The festival will further feature stands for clothes ad accessories.

Salsa Rhythm in Sofia

The fourth Bulgarian Salsa Festival will take place in Sofia from 2nd May till 4th May. The event will include demonstrations of professionals, current salsa trends and thematic DJ parties, as well as a competition. All people who wish to take part in the festival are welcome to register. The festival is organized by BG Salsa Fiesta Team and is supported by Sofia municipality and Fanta. It is expected to bring more than 7000 participants from many countries from various continents. The salsa parties will be organized in Mscara and Party Centre 4km clubs. Keep in mind that smoking will be banned.
