Dimiter Berbatov, who is a famous footballer and a captain of the national team expressed his desire to organize a football school for children in the Lozen village which is near Sofia. Berbatov met Sofia mayor, Borisov, who promised to support the foundation of the footballer and to collaborate for the stadium in Lozen village.

Sofia with a Bicycle Parade

A bicycle parade was organized in Sofia on 15th May and it celebrated the International Date for Actions against Climate Change. The event took place on several of the major streets in the centre of Sofia and it was a demonstration for a wish in Sofia to be formed bicycle lanes. The Sofia chief architect Petar Dikov promised there will be bicycle lanes in the districts of Mladost and Lyulin which will be connected to the metro stations. According to the mayor, in 2008 in Sofia will be formed two new bicycle lanes, along Tsar Boris III Boulevard and Evlogi Georgiev Boulevard.
